Which Smartphone is the Smartest of Them All?

All smartphones are not created equal, and the iPhone isn’t necessarily the end all be all of smartphones anymore.

Because it’s so easy to get online on the go, whether on your laptop with http://Clearwirelessinternet4g.com, or on your smartphone, people have a lot to say about their technology and how it works. Smartphone technology has continued to outdo itself year over year, and 2012 was no exception. But who delivered the smartest smartphone this year?

Samsung hit it big in 2012 with the Galaxy SIII. It was a direct rival to Apple’s iPhone, and took its position at the top of the smartphone heap with some smart advertising and technology.

It’s tap-to-share technology was a big hit in commercials, as well as its super slim structure. Samsung managed to match Apple’s “Siri” success with S Voice, which can even take photos on command.

Apple still made a splash in 2012 when the iPhone 5 came out in the second half of the year. Its new sleek and lightweight design was nearly overshadowed by the Apple maps controversy, which led to the firing of Richard Williamson. The maps app was flawed and less than stellar, which are words not usually associated with the technology powerhouse. Despite the ridiculed maps, the iPhone 5 still made a huge impact with its iOS 6 technology, lightweight body and flexible features.

It seems that this year the “underdog” was the smartest phone of them all: the Samsung Galaxy SIII. It will be interesting to see how these two companies shape in 2013, considering they are locked in battle over patent disagreements.
