HP Provides 3G Cards for W-CDMA and EV-DO
HP seems ready to enter the potencial 3G market by providing two kind of card in notebooks for both 3G W-CDMA and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO.
Wireless equipment vendor Sierra Wireless today announced that HP has selected its HSDPA PCI Express Mini Card embedded modules to provide 3G connectivity in the firm’s forthcoming 6400 notebook PCs.
For non-GSM markets such as the US and Asia, the Sierra Wireless MC5720 EV-DO PCI Express Mini Card embedded module will be incorporated in the HP Compaq 6400 notebook.
