Nokia Takes Apart in ICS 2006

Nokia Indonesia announced its participation in the Indonesia Cellular Show 2006 (ICS 2006) in the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, 5-9 Juli 2006.

This event is the biggest mobile telecommunication industry exhibition in Indonesia aiming at accommodating demands and needs of all parties in this industry, particularly mobile phone users in Indonesia.

In ICS 2006, Nokia Indonesia introduces Mobile TV, the latest technology offered by Nokia N92 phone, which enables users to watch digital TV broadcast, with the support of DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast – Handheld) technology.

As a player in the mobile telecommunication industry in Indonesia with a commitment to always provide the best for its users, Nokia Indonesia welcomes this Indonesia Cellular Show 2006. “We see the people have a high mobility and therefore, they need products and community technologies which could meet the demands of telephone users as well as those who need mobile technologies and devices to support their daily activities,” said Hasan Aula, General Manager Nokia Indonesia.

“Therefore, we believe ICS is able to answer the needs and demands of those who care about the development of mobile technology and devices in Indonesia”, he concluded.

In this event, Nokia Indonesia provides a sneak preview of its latest products. Among products introduced are Nokia 5500, AMUZE, two CDMA products i.e., CDMA 6265 and 6165i, three multimedia phones included in NSeries i.e., N92, N93 and N73, and four phones targeted for business community i.e., E50, E61, 6708 and E70.

In addition, various Nokia products are also showcased and used in various operator booths and Network equipment such as Mobile 8, Excelcom, Indosat, Telkomsel and Linksys for demonstration purpose. [3G!]
