MySpace launches ad-supported mobile Internet service
It’s a new option for MySpace users who don’t want to pay premium prices for its service. Fox Interactive Media today announced that MySpace will launch an ad-supported mobile Internet version. With more than 80 million potential U.S. mobile visitors per month, MySpace Mobile Web beta will be available to consumers this week.
According to InfoSyncWorld, within the new MySpace Mobile Web experience, free functionality will include the ability to: send and receive MySpace messages and friend requests; comment on pictures and profiles; post bulletins; update blogs; find and search for friends; and view or change mood status.
