Palm intros Centro, low-cost smartphone

Palm together with Sprint Nextel recently introduced the Palm Centro, a new low-cost touchscreen smartphone. For the big fans of Palm devices, it’s really worthed to own it.
The Centro runs on Palm OS 5.4.9 and it features a 2.2″ 65k color TFT LCD touchscreen, 320×320 pixels), 1.3 megapixel camera, video capture and playback, POP/IMAP/SMTP, QWERTY keyboard, speakerphone, browser, 64MB of memory, microSD card slot and Bluetooth 1.2.

Sprint Nextel Corporation is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. With 55 million subscribers, Sprint Nextel operates the third largest wireless telecommunications network in the United States (based on total wireless customers), behind Verizon Wireless and AT&T.
