VivaCell selects Redknee USSD Gateway

Nokia introduces threaded SMS

Amazon launches music store

The Dominant Apple iTunes music store could not walk alone anymore. Amazon has launched a beta version of its Amazon MP3 music download store. This service has over 2 million songs from more than 180,000 artists represented by over 20,000 major and independent labels including EMI and Universal Music. These songs can be played on all existing music hardware devices including the iPod, Zune, iRiver, RAZR, NSeries, etc. According to Ed Burnette, the Amazon's music is free from digital rights management (DRM) restrictions, so you can burn it to CD, copy it to your other computers, etc. without having to worry about the content expiring or otherwise becoming unusable in the future. MySpace launches ad-supported mobile Internet service

It's a new option for MySpace users who don't want to pay premium prices for its service. Fox Interactive Media today announced that MySpace will launch an ad-supported mobile Internet version. With more than 80 million potential U.S. mobile visitors per month, MySpace Mobile Web beta will be available to consumers this week. According to InfoSyncWorld, within the new MySpace Mobile Web experience, free functionality will include the ability to: send and receive MySpace messages and friend requests; comment on pictures and profiles; post bulletins; update blogs; find and search for friends; and view or change mood status. Unlocking iPhones may cause irreparable damage: Apple

Apple has warned iPhone owners that unlocking the gadgets could cause irreparable damage to the software after hackers released free software on the internet enabling iPhone users to 'unlock' their devices and use them on alternative networks. Source
