End2End made acquisition on TerraPlay
End2End, the leader of managed service solution for mobile data, has made an agreement about its acquisition to the leading provider of connected-gaming services, TerraPlay. This acquisition made End2End to become the world leading solution in connected and multiplayer gaming, as well as its full mobile content delivery platform.
End2End Managing Director, Bernadette Lyons, said that they expect connected gaming to be major factor in dramatic growth of the mobile gaming market and TerraPlay is the best in business. On the other hand, Sven Hålling, CEO of TerraPlay commented that by combining TerraPlay’s expertise in connected gaming with End2End’s experience in mobile content delivery, they believe that they have created an incredibly valuable and unique proposition to operators.
Currently, End2End manages several big worldwide operators, mostly European, as its customers. Among them are Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, and O2. They predicted that in the year of 2011, the market of mobile gaming will be 6 times bigger to reach $17.5 billion than in 2006.
