Apple to sell iPhones in France unlocked

Voila. Finally, Steve Jobs gave-up to the France law. He will also sell the unlocked iPhone in French. The locked version will cost €399, but the unlocked's price has not yet been announced by Apple.

Red Dwarf on your mobile

It's a good news for the fans of the international, award winning, cult sci-fi comedy series Red Dwarf. They will soon be able to watch exclusively created 'mobisodes' of the show on their mobile phone via Pitch, the international mobile entertainment company. Animated episodes in the show will be available from 11th October on a weekly basis. Source

Google is continuously moving forward in the mobile industry. The company said Tuesday that it had bought the Finnish start-up Jaiku, which makes a mobile phone users can send short messages about where they are and what they are doing.

Telefónica, Nokia open the door to mobile internet

This is a landmark co-operation brings open access to services. Telefónica and Nokia today announced they are working together to accelerate the adoption of new Internet services on mobile devices by providing Telefónica customers with easy access to both Telefónica and Nokia Internet services. The collaboration includes areas such as menu customization, technology and billing co-operation.

BT creates Wi-Fi community

Britain's BT Group has teamed-up with FON to create "the world's largest" Wi-Fi community, adding 3 million consumers to a collective that already includes subscribers to France's NeufCegetel and Time Warner Cable in the United States.
