Apple gives iPhone SDK to selected developers

After months of hoping, now developer can create third party application for iPhone. Trigger by the launch of Google's Android SDK and its contest, Apple has started seeding iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) to selected few developers. An extremely lucky few software developers are reportedly getting rough-draft versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch Software Development Kit. Telenor Pakistan selects Nokia for wireless email solution

Pakistani operator, Telenor, agreed to select Nokia as their partner to implement wireless email for consumers. Telenor will offer Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email to its consumer customers, small-meditum enterprises (SMEs), and large corporations. The service, branded as "SmartMail", is currently available.

EA scores more in mobile phone games selling than PS3 games!

Games software manufacturer, Electronic Arts (EA), reported that its mobile phone games sales outperform the PS3 games selling. Xbox 360 is still its biggest revenue winner, weighing in at a whopping $218 million, while mobile phone gaming came in at $37 million and its lamentable PS3 efforts on snapped it a paltry $17 million.

O2 and Nokia to embed Oyster into mobile phone

UK operator, O2, and phone manufacturer, Nokia, agreed to embed the Oyster swipe card used by London commuters into a mobile phone with a trial set to start next year. The mobile phones will include a built-in RFID chip that allows users to pay for train tickets by swiping the handset over the Oyster card reader.

Judge who jailed court attendants because of phone ringing is being removed

It is no secret that we are annoyed when phone is ringing when we are up to something. But truly, it shouldn't goes to jail. But if a judge is mad because of it, he/she can sentence all of the people in the court into jail. The judge who was accused on doing it has been recommended by panel to be removed.

Sony Ericsson launched Content Awards

UK-headquartered phone manufacturer, Sony Ericsson, this Tuesday announced the launch of its inaugural Sony Ericsson Content Awards. The 2007 Awards underscore the company’s commitment to forge and strengthen its relationships with the global, third-party mobile content creation community. Winners will be announced in an online ceremony on December 18, 2007.

TAG Heuer for mobile phone

Seems like creating phone is also a trend. After Prada and Levi's, now Swiss watchmaker, TAG Heuer intended to create its own mobile phone, joined with Modelabs. "The launch of the first TAG Heuer mobile telephone is foreseen for the second half of 2008," the companies said in a joint statement.

Sony Ericsson still number four

Gartner reported that during the third quarter 2007, Sweden-Japan manufacturer, Sony Ericsson still maintain its position in fourth place of global handset market share. The number is shortly increasing to 8.8%. Nokia still holds the first position, followed by Samsung, and Motorola.
