NSN with Indonesian’s Global Mediacom is its biggest mobile TV agreement
Global Mediacom, one of the largest Indonesian media group, agree to adopt Nokia Siemens Network solution on bringing mobile TV to Indonesian commercial world in the first half of 2008. The technology is based on Digital Video Broadcast-Handheld (DVB-H) and will be the NSN’s biggest mobile TV agreement worldwide.
Nokia Siemens Networks Indonesia is responsible for the end-to-end systems and services, which will include consulting, implementation of the entire broadcasting solution and network, systems integration and the relevant business applications. Global Mediacom also in talk with Nokia(handset) to provide DVB-H integrated service handset, such as in Nokia N77.
