What a great idea by Nokia. If we have relatives or friends who are unable to see the phone display for making call or create message, now we can recommend Nokia N82 with special technology. Why is the phone becoming so special? Thanks to the cooperation with National Federation of the Blind and Kurzweil Technologies, text can be converted into speech with text-recognition application.

Not only text-speech capability, this phone is able to scan various documents. It is very helpful for people who need assistance in reading and children with learning disabilities, especially dyslexics.

The text-recognizing technology is more expensive than the phone itself. But at least, it is cheaper than any previous technology out there. Hopefully by the launching of this technology, our fellow disabled can enjoy the optimal usage of phone as we do.
