NTT profit drops by 22% - April to Dec 2007
Following the last DoCoMo report, NTT, parent company of DoCoMo, announced that their profit drops by 22%, period April to December 2007. “As our regional communications businesses will likely suffer for a while, NTT DoCoMo, which is contributing more than 70% of operating profits is really important to us,” said Satoshi Miura, Nippon Telegraph’s president and chief executive.
Still, Nippon Telegraph left its earnings forecast unchanged for the full fiscal year through March. The company continues to predict a group net profit of Y530 billion on revenue of Y10.6 trillion.
