New Sony Ericsson G-series replace P-series?
The rumored products finally revealed. The new Sony Ericsson G-series, G700 and G900, hit the public view in Mobile World Congress 2008. The new conservative-looking, touchscreen UIQ smartphones to maintain Sony Ericsson no-competition-yet market. Are these line ups going to replace legendary P-series?
Both have almost identical features, UIQ 3 powered, 3G capabilities, stereo bluetooth, 160 MB internal memory and expandible Memory Stick Micro (M2) slot. The phones also are equipped with 2.4 inch 262K QVGA TFT screen. The main differences are for camera and WiFi availability. G900 has 5 megapixels camera and has WiFi, while G700 has no WiFi and 3.2 megapixels camera.
The duo will be launch in Q2 2008. The G700 will come in Silk Bronze color, while the G900 will have a Dark Red and a Dark Brown color version.
