EMI will give their music for free
But not truly free at all. If this plan really happen, you must buy the handset from Nokia first. This awesome program called “Comes with Music”. Launced in December 04, 2007, this program has brought a lot of debate on the blogosphere. Mostly don’t believe whether it is absolutely like what Nokia said or not.
Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia’s Executive Vice President and General Manager Multimedia said that they want to create what many users want; unlimited music downloads to their mobile device and PC. Now, Universal Music is still the only label who deal with it. Until EMI comes and want it too.
“We want to be part of it. I believe strongly that when it launches we will be there, with a full offering,” Wemppa Koivumaki, head of EMI Finland, said in the announcement.
Perhaps music lover can only said “Wow”. You know what; it means you can download legally music from artist like Take That, Arctic Monkey, Kanye West, Kylie Minogue, and others.
But be patient please, Nokia will begin selling those handsets in the third quarter this year. Watch your ear!
