Marlboro Phone

But that’s not Marlboro of Philip Morris, that’s a Marlbara. Yeah, if you wanna laugh now, go head. I tell you what, Just keep on laughing!

That’s the image of … but this is the journey of ..

About a week ago (March 17), I wrote something which perhaps could make Chinese become so offended (O, that (h)iPhone). Now, it is time for me to write something that make you Chinese and me are happy.

Here is the story:

Tonight, I am about to surf the web looking for something which my boss said that it is important to be reviewed in 3GWeek. Well, from the title, of course it is so cool; “Chinese made cell phone last 2 year without charging“. Yep, as a paid blogger, I can copy and paste that content easily. But as a (wanna be) journalist, I just wanna laugh all day cause of that.

Something wrong with that post:

  1. What is the name of that phone?
  2. What vendor or vendors who create it?
  3. What is the technology behind it? (and even far worse)
  4. Where did this guy get this news? (didn’t even cite the source)

Something good with that post:

  1. It makes me googling with some similar keyword with that post.
  2. Bingo; I found Solo Mobi. Site which I hope could help me to find the truth among rumors.

What is Solo Mobi? A Cell phone maker? Nop! Cell phone accessories maker? Nop! Fact, it is just a site where hundred or maybe thousand of Chinese cell phone gangsters are collected together, get reviewed, and sell out through out this earth.

When I landed on this site, I was optimistic to get what I have looked for; that 2 years everlasting battery. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get it. Yet, I get that phone. So let’s get review this one. A phone which Solo Mobi said that perfect for spy :)

Look it that! Will James Bond use that on his next adventure? Probably. But to Bond you or not with James, this cool3838 have all this features to back you up:

  1. Full metal keypad
  2. High sensitive touch screen with 260 thousand color
  3. Stereo speaker with vibration
  4. Display where the caller from
  5. Web-cam

Ughh, web-cam on a phone. So priceless …. for just US$94.
