Motorola’s temporary death
He (Motorola) isn’t death yet. Watch out boys (Nokia, Samsung, LG)
Uppss, this is a technology blog isn’t? But what’s wrong with that last word? Nothing. When I am trying to Googling about this topic, most of those results gave me the same tittle; “Motorola to stop Singapore mobile phone production”. Now, to make my post a bit different, I decided to use that tittle instead. I hope you don’t mind with this.
By the end of this year, Motorola will turn off their mobile making activities in Singapore. Good news: they don’t shut it permanently. Bad news: this will causing a 700 new unemployed people.
If we analyze this decision deeply, then we shouldn’t worried too much about this since Motorola will be back with their brand new strategy next year; to make itself in two face mode. Moreover, some important elements of Motorola still lies in Singapore such as research and software development.
