The ordinary Samsung first HSUPA agent .. Nice for YouTuber!

On March 28 2008, 3GWeek had written a gadget called Samsung SGH-A827 as a mobile TV agent (read it, it is 1000+ has been clicked). Now, for the rest of South Korean (other region should wait for this, as usual) the world second largest mobile phone vendor also launched their first HSUPA (High Speed Upload Packet Access) agent called SCH-M470.

What’s special on this? Believe me you will not so impress. I can tell you that the only good thing from this gadget is its ability to give you 2 Mbps upload time. That’s all!

Other features is somewhat so ordinary to be list here. However, I will do it for you so you don’t need to jump out just to check what weapon this slider has:

2. Wi-fi
3. Bluetooth 2.0
4. Push email
5. Windows Mobile 6.0
6. Google search application
7. Mobile TV
8. 2 inches display

The reason behind this manufacturing is probably because Market research company Gartner predicts that the HSUPA market for 2008 to have a size of 77 million users, 280 million in 2009 and 610 million in 2010 (Thanks for Luigi Lugmayr from I4U). Wow, Samsung loves that!

Well done, with 600,000 Won (about US$615 or 390 Euro) price tag I ask you to think again before you grab this one. Unless you are a YouTube junkies out there who want to be reconigzed as a hero by spreading such controversial ten videos in an hour. Just kidding. What about this lovely beautiful SE X1?
