Opera Mini now available for Android

Surf. Whereever, whenever, with Opera Mini.

Yesterday, 3GWeek has two rumors on iPhone. First about the form-factor and the second about its debut in Australia.

But today, the iPhone SDK’s face-to-face contender, Android seems to have a nice and warm welcoming from one of the best software for mobile phone, Opera Mini. Fortunately, this is an official one!

Yeah, Chris Mills from Opera had posted a technical review of this fabulous mobile browser on their official blog. The post is containing passion from Opera Mini’s Team on why would they created this new species. Plus, where to download it and how to try it even though there is no gadget yet to implement it. Of course you know what I mean then; Android SDK and emulator.

Big thanks to Opera team. This is such a tremendous milestone journey from Opera Mini’s developers. Since appearing in January 2006, Opera Mini has been used in 40 million users and viewed more than 15 billion pages worldwide. Not just that, this cute browser probably is the only one which serving many different platform till this day; Wii, Nintendo DS, Symbian, Windows Mobile, PC, Macintosh, and now Android.
