Sharp “The Monster” D4 Review
The beast has come. Ship with Vista, so be careful.
The hardware elements of this smart phone are crazy; Bang! It has 40 GB 1.8 inch hardisk drive, 1 GB of 533 MHz DDR 2 memory (my PC run only with a half of it) and Intel Atom Z520 processor at 1.33 GHz. Wow, what a monster. Plus, the unimpressive Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (yeah we know it too). And then ….. you better check out this list:
- 2 MP camera
- 1 Micro SD card slot
- 1 USB port for PC connectivity
- WANSEGU integrated digital TV tuner
- 188 x 84 x 25.9 mm in dimensions
- 470 gr
- Qwerty keyboard
- 5 inch TFT display with 1024 x 600 res
- LED backlight
- 802.11b/g Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
- Come with PHS*
*PHS stand for Personal Handy-phone System, the mobile network system WillCom’s network uses
Beside its Vista, this Sharp WillCom D4 also has a drawback; it’s pricey! You will need about $1,280 to grab it from the store in June, the month when Intel ships Atom.
A Vista-powered smart phone. Oh my ….
