LG’s Q1 net profit by numbers
The LG’s Voyager iPhone contender is good to boost LG’s profit
The report plus review by AP’s contributor Kelly Olsen can be read anywhere on da web. Here, as usual, I’m going to short list it. For the sake of simplicity and readability.
- $427 million (422 billion won) in revenue for the three months ended March 31. Compared to 123 billion won loss in the same quarter of 2007.
- $7 billion in sales.
- 24.4 million mobile handsets are sold.
- 36 percent increasing in handset sales at emerging markets including Asia and the Middle East compared to Q4 of 2007.
- 100 million handsets are expecting to be ship in 2008. 25% increasing over 2007.
LG should thanks to product like Viewty, Voyager, and Venus model mobile phones for this nice profit.
