Samsung W599 Dual SIM Card Smart Phone
Too pricey, Chinese manufacturer should have created the cheaper one.
If having GSM and CDMA mobile phones at once is your necessity, then this stuff is a right option for you. Otherwise, don’t think too much since it will come with $640 price tag. Ughhhhh …..
Samsung is clever enough, they had planned to release it in China, country which gadget like this has become very popular. Actually, my country, Indonesia, has become a target market for dual SIM card too. Even before this W599 series, Samsung had landed their W399 about two years ago. Yet unlike W599, previous series offer a lower feature and specification. But still, both are high class mobile phones that could make their customers leave nothing in their pockets but air.
Ok, now here are the list of spec:
- 2.4 inch touch screen display
- 260 K colors
- QVGA 240 x 320 resolution
- Handwriting recognition
- FM radio with 20 presets
- Music and Video players
- Bluetooth
- Instant Messaging
- WAP browser
- 2 MP camera
- Games
- 34 MB of internal memory (so bad …)
- microSD card support
- 103.1 x 53 x 16.4 millimeters
- 1200 mAh Li-Ion battery
Just for information, if you thing $640 is too big for you then I would recommend products from ZTE. This leading mobile phone manufacturer in China had also launched their Dual SIM card series since 2006, The ZTE H500. And for Chinese, if you are found yourself to be nationalist, then you better switch to ZTE U350, the world’s first TD-SCDMA/GSM dual-mode mobile phones.
