3GWeek May 1st Sunday Carnaval
Clamshell Blackberry Kickstart is the buzz of this week.
Hmmm, I love holiday. This week is, I believe to be the Kickstart’s Blackberry week. No doubt about that. Most mobile phone blogs out there talked about this issue. Started at BGR, this RIM’s first clamshell mobile phone spread to everywhere. Including here in this lovely blog; 3GWeek.
Our first post covering this issue entitle “Kickstart: first Blackberry in clamshell design”. While on the next day, we updated it with a news that this Kickstart may available in September this year. Both were taken by the famous Boys Genius Report. Kudos!
RIM’s Blackberry rival; Apple iPhone also got our attention too (as always) since there is such a noise on the leak of 3G iPhone photo over the blogs. Unfortunately, that’s not likely to be the real one. At least according to my personal opinion. Anyway, I just know todays that BGR also showed another 3G iPhone’s photo suspect from France. Oh man, I won’t publish this stuff this week.
On Nokia, we caught them for four news. First is that they had possibly return to South Korea via SK Telecom invitation. Whether it is going to be yet another return of the Jedi we still don’t know about this? Wait and see sometimes is a very wise choice. Second is the launching of three new Nokia mobile phones. Third is the official opening ceremony of the 9th Nokia Music Store in Singapore. First Asia country that deserve this honor. Last, Nokia try a brand new marketing campaign at USA that involved famous director, Spike Lee.
If Nokia’s campaign involving text, music, graphic, and videos, LG did the different thing for themself. Well, not as cool as Nokia though. They just organizing an event called LG Rally for Music . A competition where bands from US will have a chance to grab $15.000. Love it, why did LG forget Asian bands?
Special report comes from India. Hindustani make a great move after outstep US in the amount of wireless subscribers. This case perhaps, encouraged Samsung to open their 300 more new outlets by the end of this year. From India, 3GWeek flew to Philippines. Here, Globe Telecom and NMS brought Mobile TV service for the first time ever for Filipinos. Lucky customers, they even need not to install such a special software or something like that. Just a 3G mobile phone. That’s it and the show will go on.
Special for review lovers, we gave you five reviews on Motorola W388, W396 and VA76r, Motorola YuVa W270, DoCoMo new 906i series and the LG enV2.
Do I miss something here? Yes, certainly. I forget to write a tips for you. Hmm, I’m so sorry for this. I hope I could give you one post on this category for the next week. Uagggggghhh …… time to leave you now. Bye-bye. Please leave us your comments here to make this blog even better and clamorous. Thank you.
