Complete review on HTC Touch Diamond

No, this is not an Android.

HTC finally launch HTC Touch Diamond yesterday. Roarrr, this is a buzz handset for this Tuesday. If there are no other cool gadget release in the next four days, I assume this topic will become the first place in our next carnaval.

Just to make you cool and calm, please understood that this is not an HTC’s-supposed-to be Android-based handset. Hmmm, Google must be upset about this. Or perhaps, they could even happier since HTC possibly will give the best stuff for them which better than this one.

Just forget Android for a while, let’s check what this Taiwanese prism-designed give for us.

The interface comes with somewhat called TouchFLO 3D. This brand new interface will enabling users to use their finger gestures to navigate programs, browse the web, flick through contacts, photos, and albums. The most widely-used functions such as e-mail, music and the internet are only a flick away. Means that all features allow users to interact with a beautiful combination between image and motion. Wow, it seems that HTC is an anti-text company after this.

Is it HTC’s iPhone contender?

If we look deep into its features, hardware and software specs, the answer is definitely yes! However, HTC lacks of something important here: brand name. Sure, which gadget in general are mass-market actually want to buy, is it stuffs from some company called Apple or others named H-T-C. Hmm, we’ll know the difference there.

Commercial appearance

This HTC will goes to Asia and the Middle East later in this quarter. After visiting European first in June. The North American and Latin American versions of the Touch Diamond will be available in the second half of 2008. No price information yet, but I assume it will between $500 - $700. Before contract.
