Nokia puts Maps on Ovi

Next time users can saved their route and share it.

Nokia has already music, game, movie, and … Now they will add it with Maps. Nokia will put this service into Ovi, Nokia’s internet portal. Launched yesterday in Where 2.0 conference, this service will enabling users to plan their trips or adventure on their PC (users must connect to internet to do this) via Ovi website and then synchronize this map with their Nokia mobile phone.

Cool thing on this service is that it will also allow users to send (upload) the route or map they had already used (just assume it like a log file) to Ovi again. And finally, here is what matter most I think; since users had saved their map into Ovi, they will have a chance to unveil it to friends or rivals. That’s why this one is suit with term “Maps 2.0″.

Maps on Ovi will be available by the end of this September. This service, fortunately is not exclusively made just for Nokia gadget. Instead, the Giant Finnish also plan to make it hardware-independent. That’s cool Nokia. Others might like it.

Wow, this is what we call social. The future goes social said Matt Mulenweg. And Nokia seems do agree with this statement.
