Singapore Airlines support iPod and iPhone
Unforgettable flight experience with iPod and iPhone inside.
Business Week and 3GWeek were not wrong when we said that Apple is the most innovative company this year. Singapore Airlines proudly proof this Apple’s achievement by integrating world’s most popular MP3 player, iPod and Apple beautiful iPhone into its KrisWorld flight entertainment.
With this service, SIA’s customers will be able to enjoy their personal audio and video content from their iPod or iPhone together with a 15.4-inch wide screen LCD screen and the noise-cancellation headphones..
However, SIA has not yet provides this service for all type of passengers. The company offers this brand new entertainment experience to their business class passenger on Airbus A340-500 flights between New York and Singapore, and between Los Angeles and Singapore from August this year.
Here is the technical stuff on this service:
The integrated 9-pin connection on KrisWorld using a unique inflight cable supports iPod and iPhone via the 30-pin connector, including in-seat power supply and high quality audio, and iPod and iPhone content will still allow for the announcements and instructions made by Singapore Airlines cabin crew and pilots. Customers can take advantage of iPhone’s airplane mode to safely use the iPhone through the integrated system.
Oh yeah, get ready for your favorite musics or movies then ..
