3GWeek May 3rd Sunday Carnaval

iPhone goes to Asia and Australia. Rumors are closed!

It is hard to say what’s interesting on this 3GWeek May 3rd Sunday carnaval. Anyway, according to post’s popularity, I am pretty surprised knowing if the Indonesian local story about SMS Terror or Ring in Red has been view for about 190 times in less than two days.

This mystical yet ridiculous story even had outstep 3GWeek reviews on Japanese LG Prada mobile phone and Blackberry Bold which had been published since May 12. That’s four days before Ring in Red being published. The launch of Asus Lamborghini ZX1 in India has the same condition too. Never mind!

Big news on iPhone, all rumors seems to be truth after Singapore’s Singtel, Philipphine’s Globe Telecom, Australia’s Optus, and India’s Bharti Airtel officially will sell iPhone in their region. Unfortunately, Reuters didn’t tell us whether it will be the 2G iPhone or 3G one. But it’s okay. Asian will love it. Even India try to proof it with its 250.000 outlets which ready to serve iPhone lover there.

On May 16, 3GWeek dared to give its opinion on the take over of CNet by big-old media company, CBS. Check this post if you want to see how such a mogul like Arrington made a not-so-good opinion (at least according to me) above this historical acquisition.

From South Korea with news on Samsung and Blackberry. First, that the Samsung Republic has choose Lee Yon-woo as their new CEO. Second, that South Korea’s government agreed to let RIM use their own Blackberry OS for Blackberry devices instead of local’s WIPI.

Big companies never stop to make news. Nokia will put Maps on its Ovi and will likely to launch a Morph-like cellphone in 2012. Nokia’s old rival, Motorola seems to be very disappointed when analysts from IDC and Strategic Analyst said that they will lose its 1st place in US cellphone market share. Hmm, I’m just wondering if only I were a man named Greg Brown nowadays. Ughhhhh … live has never been so challenging like this time.

For tips & tricks lover, we got one special “how to” from our contributor named Niz. This guy will show you how to download applications into mobile phones. Seems very trivial but I believe this one will have its own value among others.

Last sentence, Mr. Gadget from Australia (its twitter account is here) has been following 3GWeek in Twitter world. Now, what about you? Join us here!
