MacWorld Indonesia has come
Finally, the famous international Apple-centric magazine, MacWorld has been launched in Indonesia at May 15, 2008. I haven’t check the print edition yet but at least I’ll know what the cover looks like in my local book store.
The future is Mac … and possibly the internet.
The website has also been launched at this url: http://macworld.web.id/. However, there are no contents to be played with right now. I’m just hoping that this emptiness is happened because Indonesian MacWorld team want to give the best shot for their web-based reader as good as their print-based one.
But if they’re not ….. well, I will send them a bunch of complains. No, no, no … I’m just kidding here. But I am pretty serious when saying that internet (instead of Mac) is the future.
Who knows this magazine will also write about another Apple products like iPhone, particularly its features related to the Mac. Since 3Gweek focuses on mobile phone, we will eye this kind of news from MacWorld Indonesia. Thanks …..

Very nice! Perhaps this will help us Mac users in Indonesia — so far the lack of an Apple Store makes it difficult to be an honest user of Apple software, I have been trying to upgrade my Aperture but it seems very difficult to do legally…
Anyway, I guess we all look forward to the iPhone 2 launch, hoping it will be sold and supported in Indonesia. And with a decent 3G data plan. That would certainly help…

Dear Basil thanks for your comment, it is a wonderful moment to meet person like you who still care about legal issue on software. In Indonesia, there are so many illegal software rental which give you access to rent some Apple software for only less than $1.
On iPhone, we are all also hope the same thing. However, be careful with one issue here: the price!
