Ultimate Review on Samsung Instinct

Sprint said if Samsung Instinct is an iPhone killer. Would you believe that?

American will have this Samsung’s in June 2008 via Sprint, but Asia has not been notified yet. So, before the d-day hit on all over the Asia stores, I’ll try to review it simply here.

Design and Interface

This Samsung Instinct comes with a touch-screen support, feature that make this smartphone was once predicted to be yet another iPhone killer. Fortunately, it won’t be. Though Sprint obsessively love to say YES.

If you love using stylus then this gadget is also support that stuff too. But for keypad lovers, this Instinct perhaps not a best choice since this gadget comes with no keypad. But you don’t even need to gone mad because it has a QWERTY touchpad which you can access it whenever it works best for you.

Just like iPhone, Instinct also support a shortcut feature that ease you to drag and drop or move your favorite apps wherever it possible. Good news for Mac lovers, those icons seems to have an ability to rumbling around.

Multimedia and entertainment

Samsung Instinct serve photo, video, music, and TV very well.

To capture all shadows you want, Instinct has a 2 MP camera and camcorder. Saving and exploring all pictures inside will flow seamlessly because it provides several view modes such as thumbnail and filmstrip.

Music or audio files are served better here. You can still listen to all of them while you’re writing text. And when you think about storage, don’t worry since this black cavalier comes with 2 GB microSD card. In case when you feel this 2 GB is still a tiny space for your audio files, you can upgrade to 8 GB. Ssstt … headset comes with no string, this one gives you a stereo Bluetooth one. Be happy with it.

Connectivity

This one is a 3G handset with EV-DO Rev so browsing the web surely is not a difficult task to do. Afraid getting lost in your downtown, be afraid not since it also packed with GPS. Now you want to jump and get start to your own adventure. Don’t you? For maximum performance, Samsung gives two removable battery that allows you about 5.75 hours of talk time so you can use one while charging another.

Sprint overcharged my small (US) company for over $50,000.00. We caught them doing it and now they refuse to refund the over-payments. You can read the full story at http://www.sprint-really-sucks.com

Mr Allen, I’m so sorry for what had happened to you. if Sprint is just truly like what you had said on that website than they will take their own Karma away. Anyway, the show must go on. Our focus is on the gadget, Samsung Instinct, not the Sprint itself. Though we admittedly know that this Instinct couldn’t make it if Sprint doesn’t support it with their service.

Be patient and just sue them on the court if you want! GBU …
