BlackBerry Pearl 8120 goes to Taiwan
BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is coming to Taiwan. Watch out HTC!
Thanks to Taiwan Mobile (TWM) and RIM itself for this visit. Planned to be launched in June next month, this device will be intended for both business and individual subscribers.
In the country of Asia’s silicon valley, TWM want to push the number of its Blackberry-service subscribers to 10.000. Among those pretty huge number of Blackberry subscribers in Taiwan are Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), MediaTek, JP Morgan and Citicorp.
TWM currently has a total of 270,000 broadband subscribers, including 200,000 using ADSL and another 70,000 using broadband cable. TWM expects the number of its broadband subscribers to top 400,000 by year-end 2008, accounting for a 10% share of Taiwan’s broadband market.
In USA, this sure type warrior is sold at $350 for unlocked version or $200 with a two-year contract via AT&T. From the past experience, Asian should pay higher than this of course.

The bad
Ssssttt …. it lacks 3G support and GPS.
Note:
I suggest you to read the review of HTC P3400i first if you want to use a gadget like this with a cheaper price. Don’t worry, it’s not as bad as you think.
