Fujitsu F706i let you watch TV underwater
Fujitsu F706i, is this a future or just a misunderstanding?
Look, this is a Sunday so I’m not going to review a handset today. However, I can’t leave you from this blog without giving you such a unique yet freaky gadget like this one. Let me introduce you the all new Fujitsu F706i. So what’s the freaky thing inside? This gizmo let you watch TV at about three meters underwater. Isn’t cool?
Yes, that feature of course very cool, but I just want to ask a question here. Who’s going to watch TV underwater anyway? A coast guard? I don’t know. Unfortunately, despite this cool yet funny thing, Fujitsu do not allow you to make a phone call underwater too.
Here is the complete specs;
- HSDPA support
- 1-Seg mobile TV
- Waterproof up to 3 m
- 2.7″ display
- 2 megapixel camera
- microSD/SDHC memory card slot up to 8 GB
- Dimensions: 109 x 49 x 16.9 mm
- Weight: 137 g
Price and Availability
Ubergizmo said that this HSDPA agent will be rolling out for NTT DoCoMo on July this year. No price tag information yet about it but of course it shouldn’t be as expensive as the Japanese LG Prada that cost about ¥85,000 (US$815).
Note:
Actually, I may consider a unique cellphone with these criteria; covered with gold or something expensive, it is highly expensive, the biggest, the longest, the smallest, freaky features, weird looks, and …. you can help me by leaving a comment below
thanks.

Only watching TV? It should be able to take picture underwater, that just great. With Merdeka 50’s body, it will be your dream gadget.

Yes Deka, it can help you watch TV but it can’t allow you taking picture underwater. Not even activating the cellphone basic feature. Perhaps, the main idea of this Fujitsu is that they want to give a very segmented people a gadget that save enough to be splashed by water.
Oh yeah, watching a gold-covered TV is a nice idea yet that’s would be useless I think. What’s the point anyway
