Rumor: Sony Ericsson Alicia
Besides Sony Ericsson Shiho (C905), that will be the first phone to be equipped with 8.1 megapixels camera, they are planning to unveil new line of Walkman series. The codename of this phone is Alicia. Probably named after diva Alicia Keys (well, I don’t know the exact history though).
The phone, which quite similar to W980, can display several animations, of course it depends on local service. It is one phone that will display some walkman animations or local weather. The animation can be automatically changed too, depends on the time of the day.
It is a clamshell phone, to be certain, and has big chance to be introduced this Tuesday (June 17). As from the picture, we can see that the phone has front camera for video call and dial pad-like control.
Hopefully, this phone will complete the Walkman series and crown Sony Ericsson as the best music phones creator (until now). Will this new line up help Sony Ericsson beat LG for fourth place in Gartner’s market share survey? Only time will tell.
