Sharp want to expand their cellphone business to Indonesia
Next Sharp’s sharp target are India and Indonesia
Yoshisuke Hasegawa, group general manager of Sharp’s communication systems group as reported by Reuters said to reporters in China that they want to expand their cellphone business to India and Indonesia as well. Not only in China!
Wow, this is a big news. At least for me an Indonesian. If only this plan had gone through, I suggest to Sharp that they need not to worrying too much on Nokia’s or other manufacturers price-war strategy. Building a good and stable brand name is a better choice. In my own terms, that will be selling a complete product, not the half-ass one.
As Guy Kawaski used to say on his speech, a complete product is the product which is not finished after you bought it, yet the company which sell it still give you some services after. Whether it will be a bonus, gift, discount, etc.
For Sharp; go ahead!
Build your product, learn as you go, create mistakes as you go, correct mistakes as you go, and you gonna know a lot more after you doing it than before you doing it.
