Samsung Omnia is a 3G iPhone++
Samsung Omnia is having its debut on CommunicAsia 2008
What’s the device that suit with the term; “iPhone 3G++“? Hmm, I don’t know with other vendors, but Korean Samsung will directly answer you with one word, Omnia!
But how come? There is a strong reason behind this. As a cellphone, Omnia is definitely Samsung’s effort to give their customers all things which iPhone 3G has with a plus-plus features of course.
Let’s take a quick look at this one!
Camera
3G iPhone gives you 2 MP camera with geotagging while Omnia encourage you to do more with 5 MP plus autofocus, image stabilizer, face detection, auto-panorama shot, smile shot, and even the same geotagging like iPhone used to have.
Depths
12.3 mm for iPhone 3G and 12.5 mm for Omnia. iPhone win for that 0.02 mm.
Storage
All the same with 8 GB and 16 GB internal storage. While iPhone 3G will be available on white and black, Samsung Omnia is going to boost your performance and style with silver platinum-look.
Samsung Omnia or 3G iPhone? It is not that simple …
Technology
Both are supporters for HSDPA technology. It is a fascinating one for your web activities.
Price
Samsung set this touch-screen agent at US$700+ without contract. While iPhone 3G as you might already know, $199 and $299 with two years contract on AT&T in US. Omnia will be available first for Southeast Asian market starting today and later in the European market from July.

Did you get paid to write this comparison? At least do some research. The Samsung has a memory card slot, meaning it kicks the iphone`s ass in storage. Idiot.

Thanks genius. I always forget about something. Always. forgive me please.
Oh yeah, neither Samsung nor anybody had paid me for all of my crafts here. Except my managing editor of course. But he didn’t pay me for something like this though. Mistakes is always happen brother. Even TC and Engadget had it!
I wish you come back here? I’ll miss u very much

@ Jauhari, As seen on Apple’s official iPhone page.
http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/wireless.html
“How it works.
iPhone 3G uses a technology protocol called HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) to download data fast over UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) networks. Email attachments and web pages load twice as fast on 3G networks as on 2G EDGE networks.1 And since iPhone 3G seamlessly switches between EDGE, faster 3G, and even faster Wi-Fi, you always get the best speeds possible.”
Thanks for the comment though.
