Samsung Instinct price and price plan
On May 23, 2008 I’d reviewed this award winning touch screen cellphone without such an enthusiasm like I’d given to iPhone 3G. At that time, Sprint still arrogantly trying to compared this 2 MP handset with the Apple’s 2G iPhone. Obviously, Instinct could defeat iPhone easily since it use the lower spec technology than Instinct does.
What was that? Easy dude. iPhone 2G is a cellphone that use EDGE while Samsung Instinct obsessively use the EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized), a telecommunications standard for the wireless transmission of data through radio signals which typically use for broadband Internet access. Now you got that, don’t you?
Samsung Instinct Price and Sprint Price Plan
Actually, there are a lot of stuff that makes Samsung Instinct is superior than iPhone 2G. But that case won’t appear on this post though. What you need to know now is the price!
Based on their press release, Sprint will launch this Samsung’s handset tomorrow on June 20, 2008 at $129.99 (what’s wrong with that $0.01 anyway) for American market of course.
That price tag sounds very good isn’t? But you should understand this price plan first to be sure.
Customers can choose from Everything plans for individuals starting at just $69.99 per month for 450 voice minutes or Talk/Message/Data Share plans for families starting at $129.99 per month for 1500 voice minutes to share between two lines. Instinct complements Sprint’s signature Simply Everything Plan offering both unlimited nationwide voice and data services for just $99.99 per month.
Look, doesn’t mean I discourage you to buy this Instinct, however three weeks after this date, i.e. July 11, 2008, Apple will start selling iPhone 3G with AT&T at $199. Now, the decision is totally yours. To be Instinct or iPhone. To be Sprint or AT&T. To be or not to be. That’s the ultimate Shakespeare problem.
