Apple get $325 for every single 3G iPhone sold
When we heard Steve Jobs said that the 3G iPhone will be sold at $199 and $299 on June 10, 2008, most of us suddenly shocked! (WWDC Moscone Center audience said wooooo…..). How could it that be?
Well, honestly I may not know the details but a post from Ventures Beat’s MG Siegler will give us a clue that we shouldn’t worrying Apple on this iPhone 3G price issue. On his post, Siegler said that Apple will save about $325 for every single iPhone 3G sold, from AT&T of course.
More bonus for Apple from AT&T
Oppenheimer analyst Yair Reiner, a man behind this analysis also said that AT&T will give Apple an extra $100 for every new subscribers Apple could get via Apple Store. This mean a “WOW” for Apple since most of analyst said that this 3G iPhone will outstep the 2G version in term of sales.
If only I may calculate and predict the profit of Apple then I bravely say that Steve’s company will get about up to 400 million dollars just from their revolutionary touch screen device. It is easy to get this number, I just multiply the $325 with a million of iPhone 3G prospective out there, through Europe, America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
Well done Steve! Now you shouldn’t worrying iSHARE survey too much
