iPhone 3G Q&A compilation
Yes, we know that hated-yet-long-awaited-phone will be launched this July. But hey, some people is still wondering about some features, whether it is available in iPhone 3G or not. In response to Mochan’s questions about this, we would like to add a Question & Answer compilation we found in the Internet. Here we go:
- Is there any cut and paste capability?
- Can we save any picture/video/files from the Internet?
- Is there any search function for pages?
- Can we scroll through large (office) documents?
No, Crave has confirmed that Jobs didn’t need such feature. We (still) need to manually re-write the message or email, which is actually can be done easily with cut/copy and paste.
No confirmation yet, as people still speculate on it. But Crunchgear said that using first generation of iPhone, we can save picture when using Safari, probably it will work to on the latest one. If you want to save a video from popular video provider, just download it from many downloader site out there.
Again, no confirmation yet, but most likely it will not exist. One way to trick it out, works in first generation of iPhone, is using bookmarklet.
Sorry, seems like Steve and his teams don’t figure out such problem. We still need extra work to browse (and scroll) big documents.
Seems like iPhone 3G cannot satisfy all people. At least it has 3G and GPS. Still I think the sales will be massive, as the phone will be marketed in 70 countries, not including Indonesia though
