Dress up your cellphone in Continental Mobile salon
Have you ever heard before a company named Continental Mobile? Sorry for this words, but if you come from a low or middle class family like me, I bet you haven’t hear for it even once. But it’s okay. I’ll describe it for you.
Continental Mobile is a British based company which doing unique craftsmanship regarding your mobile phones. Especially on its case, not technology. This September 2006-born company’s jobs is to dress up those regular cellphones (and iPod too) out there with a fancy yet expensive materials such as gold, platinum, and diamond. Yes, they do it with their own artist’ hand (hand-tailored).
On its website (they call it boutique), Continental Mobile divide their collection into seven categories based on material it use to dressed up each cellphone. Those are Diamond, Vivid, Platinum, Classic Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, and Aphrodite collection.
Here are some samples of cellphone which they’ve dressed up with those exclusive materials; Apple iPhone, Nokia Arte, LG Secret, Samsung Giorgio Armani, LG Prada, Nokia N6300, and Nokia 7900 Prism. The message of such company like this is pretty obvious; if you don’t want to buy Vertu, We can make your regular cellphone becomes one!
The price
As you might guessed, those dressed-up cellphones’ prices are becoming extremely expensive for most people which would become its target audience. For example, an iPhone (surely it is the first generation) with 24 Karats Gold cover will cost you at 2,191 USD or 1,099 GBP. While the “cheap” Nokia N6300 Series will cost you at 994 USD or 499 GBP.
How to Purchase
To grab one of those Cesar gadgets, you could pay them via credit card merchants like Visa or Master Card. However, you should hold on your desire to touch your twinkle-stuff for seven to ten days since this company will only start to working on it after you purchase it. Ughhh … so how about that? Are you interested? No, I mean Not yet!

I’ve heard of this before. I inquired also for my iPhone (but not too serious about it) they can have my iPhone made for 999GBD around 90kPHP with wooden brfcase, 24k gold card, and a microfiber glove to handle the phone. It’ s pretty cool actually…if you’re rich!
