New Zealanders to be the first to grab iPhone 3G

As July 11 is getting closer, everyone seems bit impatient to be the first to own iPhone 3G. But guess who is going to be the first to grab this phone? Of course, the country that will sell the device first is going to be New Zealand. New Zealand is located 12 hours ahead GMT. Thus, when they reach July 11’s midnight, New York is still at 7 AM in the morning of July 10.

We envy them certainly. Vodafone NZ is the official retailer and they manage to sell the phones from their online site and their stores in Auckland (171 Queen St), Wellington (358 Lambton Quay), and Christcurch (681 Colombo St) since midnight time. Other stores will sell iPhone 3G from 9 AM in the morning.

The price plan in New Zealand is at the same price that been tagged for AT&T users in USA.
