Camping to wait the first 3G iPhone in NZ

Evert Bruyns (left) and Jonny Gladwell want the same thing.

Yeah, we know that NZ will become the first country to grab the 3G iPhone (after BGR of course). But do you realize that there are two folks in New Zealand right now who have been waiting for two and a half nights to become NZ first 3G iPhone purchasers by camping outside the Vodafone shop on Queen St, Auckland? Hmmmm, I bet you don’t.

Those two folks are Evert Bruyns (left) and Jonny Gladwell. Mr. Bruyns is perhaps the owner of wishcollector.com, the online wishing website where their members wishes can come true. He surely want to buy two 3G iPhones on next July 11th. One will be for someone who missed out, and the other one to someone through wishcollector.com website.

While Mr. Gladwell is just a 22-years old AUT (Auckland University of Technology) student who studying physiotherapy. Anyway, it seems that Gladwell will become one the happiest guys in this world since he may likely get the 3G iPhone for free.

But How come?

Here is the story which I quoted from NZ herald:

Mr Gladwell’s friends bet him that he couldn’t last in first position until midnight tomorrow, when the new-model iPhone goes on sale in New Zealand before any other country.

As part of the dare, his mates have to bring him meals and stand in for him when he needs to use the toilet.

If he completes the challenge, his mates will buy him the phone.

Wow! I guess he’s just absolutely lucky though his mother said that his son is mad. Duh …..

Note:

Any body want to challenge me to do the same stuff?
