Willcom 9: Japan’s Google friendly phone
Willcom, the 4th largest phone operator and the only PHS phone maker in Japan is releasing Willcom 9. It is expected to be in market by July 18. It is quite small (although not thin) and said to be Google friendly phone. It is the first Willcom to have integrated function with Google Search Engine and Gmail (I dunno if Gmail is quite popular in Japan too).
According to the translation of official page, Willcom 9 will be available in two standard colors, white and black, and has built-in RSS reader. Anyway, here is the specification of this phone:

Quite small isn’t it compared to business card? As of June 2006, Wilcom has nearly 5 million subscribers, not that big since it is less than 5% of total mobile phone owners in Japan.
