Samsung i8510 is the SE C905 contender
Samsung is rumored to launch their C905 contender, the i8510. As you might noticed from my first sentence. This series will be a camera monster with 8 MP comes in. On June 24th, I also wrote about one rumor from T3 which said that Motorola will also launch their 8 MP camera cell phone code name Alexander. If this rumor goes through then the battle will likely become hotter!
So here is the specifications!
-
2.8-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels), 16 million colors
-
8.0 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Xenon flash.
-
Videos recording at 120 fps.
-
HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, TV out, DivX support, dedicated 3D graphics chip
-
Optical mouse, which we’ve already seen in earlier Samsung phones (i780 and i900 Omnia)
-
1200mAh battery
-
Metal casing, measuring 106.5×53.9×16.9 mm
-
16 GB internal memory, though some sources mention 8 GB version as well
As a first impression, let’s compare it with SE C905 specs.
- 8.1 megapixel camera, Xenon flash (an electric glow discharge lamp designed to produce extremely intense, incoherent, full-spectrum white light for very short durations), Auto focus, Face detection,
Smart contrast, Image stabilizer, Red-eye reduction, BestPic, Digital zoom - up to 16X, Photo fix, Photo flash, Photo light, Video light, Video recording, Video stabilizer, Picture & Video blogging, Geo-tagging, Photo feeds, PictBridge printing, Accelerometer to automatically flip photos to landscape mode, - Slider cellphone with 104 x 49 x 18 mm - 19.5mm over the lens in dimensions
- 160 MB internal memory
- 2 GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) included on the box
- USB adaptor (CCR-70) for phone photo transfer to-and-from your PC
- 2.4” scratch-resistant mineral glass display
- TFT (240 x 320 pixels)
- GPS ready
- A TV-Out Cable ITC-60 that let you share photos on a TV-Set
- Support DLNA to send your photos wirelessly from your phone to TV via Wi-Fi
He .. he … I think Samsung still need a lot of task list to get finished if they want to compete Sony Ericsson in this field. However, I notice some i8510 superiority in term of memory here. Hmmm, interesting isn’t?

This phone is a beast!! I am currently using a Nokia n95 8gb, Samsung g800..Both of the phones are great..Cameras are the best in the league.. (if you know how to use it right) I am planning to buy this phone as well but i am choosing between n96 & Innov8..I am doubting with the samsung’s performance regarding the loud speakers, because when i am listening music to the g800 (i can’t her a thing)it doesn’t have the power (d900 & u600 are far way better when it comes to the loud speaker performance),compare to the n95 8gb the speaker is very powerful & crisp..
have a look some more spec

@Fonefan, thanks for your information. Anyway, I still opined that Samsung Speaker is pretty well for my ear. Actually, I don’t even have one but I used to listen from my fellow.
Oh yeah, nice website though. A complete one. Next time, I’ll cited anyway.
