iPhone-Dev team has hacked the iPhone 3G
Okay this is real. Can’t believe it this is real. On July 14, Apple guys must be very proud because they could broke their own record with that spectacular a million iPhone 3G sales record. But now, they got to be nervous with this one; iPhone-Dev team has jailbroken their iPhone 3G.

Besides Apple and iPhone-Dev team, the FuriouSim is also busy to hack this new candy bar. If only this is a truth than I think Apple should better take it to the next serious level; court!

I guess the term “hijacked” and “apple is nervous” is too much for this one. I’m sure Apple already know this will coming, and it’s sure come if you count on popularity of the cellphone itself.
That’s why Apple made sure, on the first place with AT & T that every buyer of this new iPhone 3G will activate their phone in store which minimize chances for unlocker to unlock the phone through some software, but this had already failed on the first place with the “itunes scandal” on launch day and sure thing, you can prevent someone from unlocking the phone with software, but not if they try it with hardware. And there’s a video on Crave blog that some brazilian man had already unlocked the phone using “SIM Fool Tool” (that’s how i liked to call it) which fool the phone with wrong status that it’s working on the right operator while actually, it’s not.
But hey, good news for all! Especially the store at Mangga Dua!
