Mobile Review now “hate” Sony Ericsson

Eldar Murtazin-owner of Mobile Review-the one used to love Sony Ericsson, now has turn himself 180 degrees to “hate” them. Not literally hate them, but he felt very sad that Sony Ericsson has degraded themselves by creating unsatisfying, buggy, and lame-in-sales products.

He said in W902 review:

If some of you think that I’m being harsh in this write-up – you are spot on. I just can’t stand what they have done to one of the market’s finest line-up in no time after 5 years of development and hard work. They had a wake-up call back in 2007. Apparently, they didn’t hear it.

Yes, after Dick Komiyama replaced Miles Flint last November, the sales of Sony Ericsson has dropped very deep. The reason is of course the unreliable and unsophisticated product. The significant result come this Q2 2008. Their profit dropped 97% compared to last year Q2, and face 2000 employees firing process.

If this condition continue, I think we will lose another mobile manufacturer; even faster than Motorola perhaps? Why not bringing the Japan phone, like they once conducted with S700 and W900?

I share his “hate”- disappointment, being a long time fan of SE, now I had my last Sonyericsson when I had the p990i. The phone was terrible, and even worse the support, which lasted for 1 year, and last year SE stopped supporting/updating it permanently.
And the new phones seem to be same quality: ugly-unfunctional, slow and buggy.Having learned from experience that they will not be updated one must without a choice go and buy a Nokia, Iphone or other brand.
