JCB Tough phone
This phone has been launched for quite a while, yet it was beyond our radar. Like the name (which “tough” also being used by Panasonic for its laptop series), the JCB Tough Phone is really aimed for adventurer. It has all resistants you fear of. It is dust resistant, water resistant, shock resistant, and drop resistant. It is equipped with Push-to-Talk (PTT) like handy talky and extra loud ringer so that you won’t miss any call.
Before going through, here are the specs according to official site:
- 113 x 50 x 22 mm
- Triband GSM connectivity
- Bluetooth, WAP browser, and USB connectivity
- 128 x 160 pixels, 65K color display
- Up to 240 minutes of talk time and 200 hours of standby time
Paul Freeman has luckily grabbed this phone and said:
There isn’t much more to say, it’s a simple phone that makes calls and sends text messages, and is particularly well built to survive better then any other mobile out there I’ve seen. If you’re a heavy text user it might not be the best choice, but then this is a phone you by because you need something to stand up to your environment, not because it’s cool. So if you think you need it, I’d be very happy to get one.
Seeing the domain name, seems like it is still only available for UK market. Dunno when will this phone be selling worldwide.
