Motorola is still the world third largest cellphone manufacturer

Wow, it seems that Mr. Amir and the source which he has been cited-in on July 22, 2008 was wrong! LG is not yet to be the world third largest cellphone manufacturer. It is Motorola which stand steadily on this position. Yeah, Bravo Moto!
And here are some facts on this issue.
- Shares jumped 13 percent after Motorola also said it expects to report a profit for the full year of 6 cents to 8 cents per share on continuing operations.
- 28.1 million phones has been shipped in the second quarter
- $4 million in profit
- $8.1 billion in revenue
Now that’s what the mobile division has give to Motorola. On the other side, its television set-top box and networks equipment division has gained a huge earnings at $245 million and $2.7 billion in sales. Look, this division’s earning and sales is still lower than the mobile device division. However, it is on the positive trends. Unlike its fellow on the mobile division which being on the contrary.
