Nokia N96: October 1 in UK
Although I myself has not being convinced by their performance, Nokia N96 will succeed its notorious predecessor-N95-in about 2 months. The phone is scheduled to land in the UK by October 1. The phone will be sold through Three, Vodafone, T-Mobile, and Orange. O2-which also sells Apple iPhone 3G-doesn’t join the crowd, due to prevent any conflict of interest between these two competitors.
The price? No contract seems to be offered and you can bring it home peacefully with about 400 British pounds (nearly US$ 800)!! To refresh our minds, N96 will double its internal capacity to 16GB, while still having external memory slot. The phone also has integrated DVB-H receiver watching free view TV channels.
