Nokia to cut handset prices!

We all know that global mobile market is not really that good right now. This condition affects many mobile companies, which lost most of their profits since people tend not to spend money for non-primary needs, due to the rise of gasoline and food price. This condition also affects Nokia, the largest mobile manufacturer. Nokia admitted their profit goes down for more than two digits in percentage.

Well, it is not Nokia if they can’t make strategy to face this uncertain condition. The Finn-based company plan to cut their price up to 10% for selected music and media phones. I think this way is more interesting to stimulate sales than cutting 2000 jobs like Sony Ericsson is about to make.

For your information, Nokia 5310 and 5610 (both are music series) and N81 8 GB are considered having the sharpest fall in term of sales. Nokia probably will give extra discount for this low sales goods to help boosting their sales. Anyway, I don’t have any information whether this policy will be offered worldwide or not.
