Sony Ericsson launched R300 in India
Yesterday, some of Indian who live in rural areas must be happy about this news. Sony Ericsson, Indian third largest cellphone manufacturer has just launched their Radio Phone R300.
Introduced for the first time in January 2008, this phone is a unique phone which obsessively support radio but doesn’t sports on any MP3 player, except for the ringtone. Unlike most other cellphones which comes with the common FM, R300 is also equipped with the AM receiver. FYI, this is the first time ever in India!
Besides radio, R300 also has other features that will suit pretty well with its intended market. Here is the list.

- Dimensions: 101 x 46 x 12 mm
- Weight: 75 g

Customers who want to grab this R300 from the stores should ready to spend his Rs 4,395.00 (US$103.634). Anyway, if you think that this model doesn’t fit you enough, perhaps it is better for you to wait another radio model from Sony Ericsson called R306. Unlike R300 which comes with 0,3 MP camera, R306 sports on 1,3 MP. But sure, the price is higher.
