Again, on Globe Telecom’s iPhone 3G Pricing Plan
Ah, I am so curious about the iPhone 3G pricing plan from Philippines Globe Telecom. Honestly, I still didn’t get it with that “P4,999″. But thankfully, my fellow blogger from Cellphone9, Jayvee had published his own opinion on this issue. Just for your information, Jayvee is a real Filipinos, so his opinion is always worth to read for this case. Though it is not always represent all Filipinos conception on this subject at the same time.
Here is some excerpt from his post:
What’s to stop me from buying a refurbished first generation iPhone for around $150.00 (yeah that’s the price here) and insert a SIM card that has unlimited roaming Internet minutes? I spend so much less. As for the features I’m left out of — GPS is honestly overrated.
Okay Jayvee [Jayvee Fernandez], thanks for this one. Now I know it. This pricing plan just isn’t suit enough with some folks from Philipphines. Too expensive isn’t?
