A MicXon’s “fake” communicator
In one of the Jakarta’s shopping mall, Kristian from Nokia Weblog is stucked to a “cheap” E90 Communicator look-a-like. The brand new phone is offered for only IDR 1.8 million (US$ 200), with IDR 1.3 million (almost US$ 150) for used product. It is very cheap for an uber communicator. Apparently, it wasn’t truly a communicator. Yes, it is black and has E90-form-factor, but for me it looks more like handheld gaming device (e.g: Nintendo DS) than Communicator.
It is made by Singapore based manufacturer, named MicXon. I believe it is OEM product from Mainland China or Taiwan. I am searching for product information in their site, yet haven’t found any clue. Therefore, we aren’t able yet to give more comprehensive information. I don’t think buying this device will give extra confident as when buying the real one.

Wow, if it is available in TFT screen then it is good enough for me. Some of the second hand Communicator is cheaper than this. However, the case are just bad enough to be seen.
Suggestion for MicXon, why not trying with other case-color like black or white?
